Dropdown information for filtering criteria

I see a problem with current filtering:

Size fractions is a string. Users have no idea what size fractions are available and they don't want to go through 7167 pages to find out:

It would be important to have a factor feature, where defined factors receive a dropdown where users can select single or multiple levels. See below from my colony-picker site, where I'm doing this with jQuery DataTables.
